"He’s making a list, and checking it twice," which means December 25th will be here before we know it! With that much-anticipated day approaching quickly, we all need a little reminder of how many shopping days we have to spare. One of my favorite traditions as a child was pinning a new ornament on the darling felt tree my Mother had hanging in the front walkway, every morning before school throughout the month of December. For this month’s project, we are making an advent calendar that will make your creative heart happy…we’re using a simple cupcake tin! After seeing this darling idea online, I had to give it a try with some super cute StoryTellers’ products. You can use a tin made for 24 mini muffins, or you can use a tin made for 12 regular muffins (depending on the type of advent calendar you would like to create—12 days of Christmas, or 24 days.) Drop a treat or a note with a holiday activity in the little hole, for a fun daily surprise! Gather your supplies and let’s get started.
