Happy New Year, and welcome to a fresh beginning of fun monthly projects! With the New Year comes a renewed sense of what is most important to us. With this in mind, hopefully you have included some fresh new scrapbooking goals to accomplish this year.

This month I really want to emphasize the fact that creativity can still flourish on a budget. The first project I want to share with you is actually packaged in an empty Oatmeal container. It is a “Snowman in a Can.” The container includes everything you would need to make a snowman…all you need to do is add the snow! (For those of you who live near a beach…you could gather supplies to decorate a “sandman” instead.) The second project is a framed seasonal scrapbook page. Not only will this allow your personality to radiate on your walls, but you will be preserving memories while decorating your home (and all for a great price!) As the year progresses we will add a layout for each of the four seasons. The final project is a simple gift for someone who could use some uplifting. Decorate a can of hot chocolate to share with someone you love. I know hot chocolate can put a smile on my face!
